Final Review
College admissions counseling needs people. It needs money, time, and love for a child’s future. But what it also needs is results. Final Review is the fresh, final pair of eyes a student needs to get into the best school possible.
What do we do?
Sophos is based principally on you. The individual student, parent, and story of every applicant is enriched through interviews and deep examinations of the student’s strengths. It is the final draft program for students that have already done most of the hard work in preparing for their college admissions journey.
Final Review is staffed by experienced consultants who have produced admissions outcomes for schools such as Harvard, Oxford, Cornell, and Columbia. We appreciate results. Instead of packages with dozens or hundreds of hours, we offer single day intensives which completely refurbish and finalize a student’s college application.

Consultation
We speak for 15-30 minutes on the students goals, their scores, and their current progress on their application.

Preparation of Materials
Our consultants review, edit, and propose changes internally, all with an eye to an official, full-scale epitome on the day of the intensive.

Intensive Day
Students (and parents if desired) meet in person at the Harvard Club of New York City for lunch, work until all applications (up to 30) are finished, and then have dinner together to celebrate.
Your Questions, Answered
Do I have to apply to be a customer?
No. Consultations are offered for free; contact us with a general overview of the applicant (scores, GPA, major bylines of EC’s) and their desired schools, and we will schedule a consultation if the service is promising. Because each student gets a full day of our consultants time, there are limited spaces each academic year.
What is the cost? What if I can’t come to you?
$9500, payable by check, with other potential financial incentives as structured for the student’s needs. The service can also be done remotely, but applicants are strongly encouraged to come to New York.
What expert knowledge does your program have, which others don’t?
Like most other elite college counseling boutiques, our consultants have inside information and knowledge of the workings of the top admissions departments in the USA, and constantly work to remain informed on how the landscape is shifting with court rulings, policies on legacy admissions and sports, scholarships, and more; however, where Sophos truly excels is the complete and undivided attention and results-based approach given to the applicant, something other services fail to do through obfuscated contact hours, tutoring, and other package incentives.
